I currently work as a Senior Front-end Developer at Vrbo (former HomeAway), part of Expedia Group, in London, UK.

I am a well-established front-end web developer with experience on client focused web applications (SPAs), as well as working on server side apps, as a fullstack developer.

I have solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, React, etc, and I am passionate about top niche tools for the implementation of web applications.

I would describe myself as highly adaptable to change, persistent, and results-driven. I like to make an impact and work hard. I also enjoy working in an international environment, where positive relationships among co-workers are valued.

Svelte app + firebase

An app constructed while I learned about Svelte :). It allows the user to create, edit and delete meetups. Data is stored in a firebase database.

Dashboard using React + Redux + webpack

A 2 year old project React/Redux SPA + Node Expess API deployed on Heroku (api repo: https://github.com/hugofqueiros/api). The traditional client side application (SPA) is constructed with modern technologies like React, Redux, and Webpack. Data is fetched from an Express API.

SPA with Vuejs and Veux

Web application built with Vuejs and Vuex for state management. It's a supermarket app that fetches data from Firebase and lists products on /products. Adding to the cart updates the total and shows items on /cart.
